Our H4H Lebanon President and Founder ElieJoe Khoury has been selected as a 2023 Clinton Global Initiative University Student to be hosted at Vanderbilt University. This special recognition highlights all of the hard-work, leadership, and innovation he is putting forward to serve the Lebanese people.
This is EliJoe Khoury, at the Lebanese American University (‘24). He is majoring in Biology and is deeply passionate about H4H’s mission. Here’s what he had to say:
“The initiative aims to provide preventative healthcare screenings and a variety of other services to the vulnerable in Lebanon. The objective is to raise awareness about hypertension and other healthcare issues along with the importance of regular check-ups. Providing early detection and management for individuals with risk factors is key. The project will involve setting up screening stations in various locations. This allows for an understanding of a strong picture of the healthcare situation in the country, which can further the impact.
We are looking forward to doing more good and appreciate the recognition CGIU has bestowed upon us. More amazing initiatives and projects done by our members to come!”
